A Great Debate

There are many teenagers in the world who love to write. It's something that has ingrained itself into their very being and they know that their job will be full-time writing. Nothing else appeals to them quite like writing does. Now, some of these writers are truly talented. They have the ability to write like Stephenie Meyer when they're just sixteen, and yes I believe this is a possibility. Of course, I am also aware that many teenage authors write beyond their years, but not as well as a top class author, and because of this many agents turn teenagers down. In fact, they don't even give the kid a chance, because of their age. My personal opinion, is that this is a really stupid idea. I know that I have the maturity in my writing, as well as in myself to be a published author as a teenager. Not to mention the fact that I will be a senior by the time my book even gets out there, and there are others like me too.

What's your opinion?

You Don't Know Me Yet

Currently, I am an unknown author.
The Reason: I haven't finished my novel yet.
The Problem: My self-discipline is considerably lacking.
The Plan: Any bloggers out there who are desperately trying to write a novel can cybernetically congregate on this blog to encourage each other to keep writing.

Recently, I have heard of a challenge for authors to write a novel in thirty days. I would like to try this, but I don't know anything about it. So, instead I want to attract other bloggers, and write, all the while blogging my progress (not my story) on the internet.
